Loose Stitch, Loose Drape

The Honora Open-Knit Draped Cardigan uses a wide open stitch that lets the fabric fall in loose folds down the front, with no buttons and no belt. Long sleeves run plain. The looseness of the stitch is what makes the drape possible — a tight knit would hold its shape and hang flat.

A Layer That Moves

Open stitching keeps it light enough for indoors while still reading as a layer, and the draped front falls differently each time it is put on. Nothing fastens, so it goes over whatever is already on. It folds down to almost nothing in a bag.

How to Wear It

Wear it over a fitted top with straight trousers, letting the drape do the shaping. It works over a slip dress for a looser line. Keep what is underneath close to the body.
