The Maren Fair Isle Knit Button Cardigan works Fair Isle banding across the body and fastens with buttons up a ribbed front placket. Long sleeves close at ribbed cuffs and a rib finishes the hem. A cardigan lets the pattern sit either side of the opening, which breaks it up nicely.

A Long-Season Layer

It carries from early autumn through the chilly months because it opens when a room gets insulating. The ribbed placket holds the front flat, and the trims keep the shape through regular wear. Nothing about it demands much thought.

How to Wear It
